Koch Internship Program

During the program, each intern works at a non-profit through a collaboration with the Charles Koch Foundation and spends every Tuesday at the Charles Koch Institute. 


Koch Summer Fellow Program

The Koch Summer Fellow Program combines policy work experience with professional education through a rigorous nine-week program.


Philanthropy Roundtable Summer Internships

Paid internships in Washington, D.C. in a number of fields including, publications, K-12 education, economic opportunity, donor relations and research, public policy, and event planning. 


The Heritage Foundation Program

Paid internships for students interested in undertaking various research, writing, administrative, and computer projects. Spring, summer, and fall internships available.


Cato Institute Internships

There are a wide variety of departments in which interns work. Interns assist department directors and research assistants with research and data collection. Summer, fall and spring internships available.


American Council of Trustees and Alumni

The ACTA seeks accomplished, high-energy undergraduate, graduate, and professional students with excellent research and communication abilities to apply for spring and summer internships.


Tax Foundations

Offers a unique internship program designed to introduce undergraduate and graduate students to tax policy principles, and apply them in assessing and advancing public policy.


Competitive Enterprise Institute

Intern program seeks to help interested undergraduates, recent college graduates, and graduate students learn more about the ideas of liberty and help to promote them by pairing them with a member of CEI’s policy, development, media or administrative staff.


American Legislative Exchange Council

ALEC interns have completed writing and research projects, and worked with staff to help expand ALEC membership. Provides a great opportunity to take on substantive projects and learn about state policy.


Institute for Justice

Seeks a research intern for its strategic research program at the Arlington, Va. headquarter. Includes data collection and analysis for research projects.


Center for Individual Freedom

Engage on a wide range of issues and always on the lookout for sharp students who are outstanding writers. Interns gain meaningful real-world experience, perform critical research, draft policy papers and reports, and potentially have pieces published.
